Its absolutely rubbish if you need to commute with only 1 train towards Crewe in the morning and no return trip, however if youre looking for a half decent train watching spot then thisll do, although Tamworth station is a better shout. Super quiet here and very difficult to get taxis

Unattended four track rail station with generally one morning service and no serviceable platform 2 to return to. Express and freight regularly pass through on this busy Rugby - Stafford line. Remains of footbridge visible, but site of the old signal box now covered in grass.
